What it's like
A netted enclosure of calm river water off Bayview Park, part of the push to make the Parramatta River swimmable again. Earlier baths here closed in the 1960s because the river was too polluted; after years of clean-up, the City of Canada Bay reopened swimming in 2022.
When to go
Summer days after a dry spell. Do not swim for a few days after heavy rain, when stormwater affects the river.
